Research, Writing, and Storytelling
I am a behavioral science researcher and scientific communicator with over 10 years of experience translating research into audience-focused content. My work sits at the intersection of research, writing, and storytelling. My main research focus has been on emotion, health, and culture.
My science journey stems from my initial background studying film and screenwriting. I was initially fascinated by why audiences reacted to what they saw on screen and this inevitably led me to want to study emotion and psychology further. Throughout my research journey, I have led and contributed to mixed-methods research examining how people from different cultural backgrounds experience and regulate emotions and what this means for their overall health, all while still holding on to my roots and passion in writing and storytelling.
Through publications, presentations, and collaborative projects, I transform research findings into accessible narratives that inform, engage, and create impact across audiences.
