Writing & Editorial Work

I pursue writing opportunities that allow me to combine research and storytelling into audience-focused public writing. Through feature articles, interviews, and editorial work, I have enjoyed translating ideas into engaging and accessible narratives for professional and public audiences.

Where did my passion for science communication come from?

My interest in storytelling began before graduate school. As an undergraduate student at California State University, Long Beach, I studied film and screenwriting. My interests in film and storytelling continue today, as they continue to shape how I approach scientific communication, particularly how I think about narrative, audience engagement, and translating complex ideas into accessible and meaningful stories.
